Avner's Palm Beach Walk has now finished

The 4km walk is on Sunday the 18th of October at Palm Beach, assembly at 9.30am for a 10.30 start. The walk starts at the southern end of Governor Phillip Park and will follow the beach to the southern end of Palm Beach, walkers will then head north on the beach, towards Barrenjoey Headland and then finish back at the starting point.

To setup you own fundraising page click on the "BUILD FUNDRAISING PAGE". Then approach your friends, family and colleagues for support by emailing around the unique link of your webpage. Each donation is recorded on your page along with any message of support you receive. 

Activities on the day

  • Bacon/egg rolls and refreshments will be sold prior to the commencement of the walk (and after the walk) at Governor Phillip Park.
  • Purple is the colour of pancreatic cancer, so be sure to wear something purple on the day.
  • To keep the littlies happy, a quiz will be held along the walk.
  • Mens/Womens health bags available for sale during the day.
  • Bottled water will sold at the walk.
  • Registration packs containing further information about the event will be posted out to you. For those registering after Monday 12th October, registration packs will need to be picked up on the day from the information tents.
  • All profits will go towards pancreatic cancer research.

  • Barrenjoey High School, Coonanga Road, North Avalon - 60 parking spaces with additional on street parking available in the surrounding Streets.
  • Careel Bay Playing Fields - Barrenjoey Road Avalon (181 car spaces, 4 disabled)
