The Tour Duchenne is all about ordinary people doing an extraordinary thing to help raise money and awareness to fight the insidious disease that affects 1 boy in 3500. Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Duchenne boys, who through no fault of their own will have to live their lives with this disease leading to muscle wasting and a premature death due to the ultimate failure of all the muscles including their heart and lungs need all the help they can get to make sure that they have the chance to live the normal life that their peers do, and so they can experience all the simple wonders of this world that others take for granted.
