Thanks for Supporting such a Great Cause!

Well we did it and what a fantastic experience it was. I must say I was very impressed with how well organised the GVBR was and also how friendly the people on the ride were. As for the actual ride, some days were hard but over all very enjoyable and of course the Great Ocean Road section was the highlight of the trip. Again a huge thank you to everyone who helped us raise money for Diabetes Australia - Vic. Happy new year to everyone

Only 5 days to go before the first day of the Great Victorian Bike Ride and I must say I am a little nervous as to how I will go, although I am glad the time is finally here. Peter and I wanted to thank everyone from family, friends and workmates who have been very generous with their donations to Diabetes Australia Vic.
In particular we wanted to give a special thankyou to Sophie who is a friend of our grandchildren. Love your smile Sophie.

Peter and I are pictured here with Deirdre Thorn who is also from Bendigo and raising money for Diabetes Australia Vic. It is also the first time Deirdre has been on the GVBR so we wish her well and hope to catch up with her during the ride to see how she is going.

Peter and I are about to embark on our first Great Victorian Bike Ride. Starting at Portland, the birth place of our two wonderful children Jye and Kelly, and then working our way via Macarthur along the coast to our final destination Geelong. Diabetes Australia Vic is one of the sponsors for the ride thus giving us a wonderful chance to raise money for a most worthy cause that is very important to our family.
