After a postponement due to the Victorian bushfires, we are now looking towards this summer for our big run. In December 2009 we will be tackling the toughest trail Australia has to offer. We plan to run the Australian Alps Walking Track from Walhalla in eastern Victoria to the outskirts of Canberra, roughly 650km.

As part of the journey we will be raising money for the Australian Wildlife Conservancy. A charity whose ethics are very close to our hearts.

The money we raise will go to purchase land at Pungalina - Seven Emus, to establish the first private nature reserve in the Gulf Region of northern Australia.

For every $35 donated, we will be saving 1 hectare of land.

Australian Wildlife Conservancy was formed to stem the tide of extinctions overtaking Australia. Its mission is the effective conservation of all Australian animal species and the habitats in which they live.
