So, my best friend Danika has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. She has decided to take the time during her treatment to organise an event to raise awareness of Lymphoma Australia and to generate funds to this charity through a shave off event.
I decided it would be opportune to join her with the shave to support those affected currently and for future.

Lymphoma Community Fundraising for Lymphoma Australia

Lymphoma is a cancer of the lymphatic system.
Lymphoma is:

5th most common cause of cancer in Australia
Lymphoma is one of the fastest growing cancers in the western world.
Unlike lung cancer and melanoma the cause is not known.

Lymphoma Australia is Australia's only not for profit charity dedicated exclusively to the provision of support and information to Australia's growing population of Lymphoma patients and their families.

We aim to:

Provide education and support for individuals with lymphoma and their support network
Raise community awareness to the signs of lymphoma
Advocate for the best treatment and care for lymphoma patients

Every donation helps us move closer to a cure.
