I set a record of sorts yesterday, by riding 387km and managing to work all week... but the biggest achievement was not mine, but my 10 year old son's.

He rode the Sydney Spring Cycle Classic ride (50km) and then rode all the way home (another 26km). At 76km – with a fair few hills which had him mastering his gear changes – I reckon he did himself proud.

Fitzs Challenge 2011 for Oncology Children's Foundation

The Kids Cancer Project from The Oncology Children’s Foundation (OCF) is an Australian charity dedicated to finding cures for childhood cancers with the lowest survival rates. Almost half of children with these types of cancer lose their battle. This is an outcome that OCF is determined to improve by funding some of Australia’s best childhood cancer researchers.
