Well the three amigas got into the action last year for the very first time, and we're back for another shot, only this time we've brought friends! With Lozz and Marz ramping up the challenge and tripling their distance from last year, the pressure is on for me to improve on my time from the last race!

But more importantly, I think we'll all be soaking up the atmosphere at this year's tripink, as we cross the finish line alongside breastcancer sufferers and survivors. The best thing about last year's even really was the sense of achievement and the cheers from the onlookers as every person crossed the finish line, no matter what their age or ability. There's something a bit special about watching a 70 year-old woman complete her first triathlon!

So anyway, please help us to support this very worthy cause... My grandmother has been a victim of breast cancer and thankfully survived (actually that's an understatement, she's in amazing shape). I would love to do as much to combat this disease as possible before it hits another generation of my family. Or any other family for that matter.

And if that isn't enough for you, then consider that we have to be at the venue before the sun even comes up! Please make it worth our while!

Triathlon Pink 2009/10 for National Breast Cancer Foundation

The ultimate goal of the National Breast Cancer Foundation is to raise enough money to fund a cure for breast cancer.
