Forget-me-knot Day and government. ASCA is in ongoing discussions with government highlighting the needs of adult survivors of child abuse, in terms of policy, funding and service provision. However we still do not receive any recurrent or core funding, which means that many survivors continue to struggle to get the help and support they need.

This Forget-me-knot day we will be delivering a letter and tangled knot pin to politicians, right around the country, in Federal, State and Territory governments.

Forget-me-knot letter to the politicians for ASCA - Adults Surviving Child Abuse

ASCA is a national organisation which works to improve the lives of adult survivors of child abuse throughout Australia.

Our long-term strategy is to ensure that all adult survivors of all forms of child abuse and neglect in Australia will be able to access the specific services they need, to ensure health, well-being and meaningful engagement in the communities in which they live.

Studies have shown that appropriate programs and therapeutic support can significantly reduce the legacy of childhood trauma and abuse.
