45 days and counting. Although i feel my wish to swim the English Channel is within reach, Im finding it difflicult to find a sponsor, I would love all my supporter to get behind me and embrace this great service. The Westpac Rescue Life Saver Helicpter staff have been completly inspirering and make every swim I attend safe. We as Australian need to get behind the people who make Australia such a special place.

Westpac Life Saver Helicopter Rescue (Sydney)

The Westpac Life Saver Helicopter Rescue Service (Sydney) was established by Surf Life Saving Australia in 1973 and has performed over 22,000 missions. Today the dedicated and professional crew provide support for Surf Life Saving Australia, NSW Police, RFS and SES, 7 days a week with no cost to people we rescue.

From the Central Coast to the Illawarra (and beyond) we are Sydney's only dedicated search and rescue helicopter!

By choosing the Westpac Life Saver Helicoper Rescue Service as your charity of choice, you are helping to raise vital funds to train volunteer rescue crew members, contribute towards the cost of a flight helmet or provide rescue equipment for the helicopter and crew.

By raising just $50 you will provide a new Patrol Pack containing commonly used lifesaving items essential when carrying out a rescue. By raising $500 you are buying over an hour of aircraft fuel time and $5000 will purchase a new flight helmet.
