Hi there everyone,
The April Ride For Dialysis was held last month, 5 of us had a great ride around the Bellarine Peninsula. Cycling through Barwon Heads and finding a realy good coffee shop in Ocean Grove...On our trip we used the brand new bike path that links Blackgate Road and 13th Beach Road. This is one of the best bike paths to ride on, it keeps you away from a tricky little section of Blackgate. Australian Kidney Foundation trading as Kidney Health Australia’s vision is to saves lives and reduce the need for dialysis.

Kidney Health Australia is a non-profit organization with a mission to advance the public health agenda through awareness, detection, prevention and management of kidney disease in Australia and our region.

Kidney Health Australia is a national organization with offices in each state of Australia with a rich 42 year history that has seen our focus broaden to the provision of services and programs around prevention, detection and treatment of kidney disease.

We aim to educate the Australian community, General Practitioners and high risk groups about how to avoid kidney disease. We will do this through educating them to be pro-active about having their kidney function tested as kidney disease has ‘no warning signs’ unlike other diseases.
