Hi there everyone,
The Rides For Dialysis have been well attended this year. These are easy to medium difficulty bike rides around the Geelong and Bellarine area. They are in aid of Kidney Health Australia. Since 2010 myself along with the Geelong Touring Cyclists have raised over $2500 for KHA. Many people have generously given their money to help KHA help kidney patients. We hold the Ride For Dialysis on the last Sunday of each month, the pace is easy and we always stop for a coffee break.

Australian Kidney Foundation trading as Kidney Health Australia’s vision is to save and improve the lives of people affected by kidney disease.

Kidney Health Australia is a non-profit organization with a mission to promote good kidney health through education, advocacy, research and support.

Kidney Health Australia is a national organization with offices in each state of Australia with a rich 44 year history that has seen our focus broaden to the provision of services and programs around prevention, detection and treatment of kidney disease.

We aim to educate the Australian community, General Practitioners and high risk groups about how to avoid kidney disease. We will do this through educating them to be pro-active about having their kidney function tested as kidney disease has ‘no warning signs’ unlike other diseases.
