Hi Everyone,

we have started the process of writing to all our wonderful, friends, family and supporters who helped us achieve our result.

However we wanted to use this forum as an opportunity to highlight some people whose contribution went far beyond amazing.

To the Epilepsy Qld team, you are amazing and your unending support to Sophie and us makes us proud to be associated with you. Particularly Helen, Susan, Marg, Judy, Yvette and of course Sophie's favorite Little Poss !!

To Eatons Hill State school, we cannot have asked for any more support. To all the teachers and support staff, thank you so much for volunteering your time and also for bringing the children down to share in the excitement. Particular thanks to Principal Clyde Campbell, Deputy Principals Helen Henrich and Marg McKinnon, Nicola & John Moores (thanks again for the "special cream"), Mary-Ann Mellor, Melinda Iacovella, Nicole Bird, Renee Wilkie, Cathy Leslie, Leigh Page, Lorna McCumstie and Mara Graham for their great help both on the day and with the education of our children.

To our parents, thank you so much for your support leading up to and during the event, there were certainly times where we needed some inspiration to get us through and you provided it. And also for tending to our wounds and helping us recuperate in the days following the event.

To our donors, thank you so much, we have been astounded and humbled by the generosity of so many to the point where we do not want to single anyone or group out, rather just reiterate a sincere thanks for your help.

To our sponsors, your support was invaluable, Particularly Skins (our major sponsor) who were awesome and whose product helped us not just achieve but survive the gruelling 24 hours. Also thanks to Woolworths at Warner, Westfield Strathpine, Fitness First at Fortitude Valley.

To the media, a huge thanks to 612 ABC Brisbane, your coverage was awesome !! Particular thanks to Spencer Howson, Rebecca Levingston, Anne O'Keeffe and Kelly Higgins-Devine. Also to Rod Tiley and Faith Jarvis at 4BC's afternoon program, thank you so much for your assistance. Also the team at Quest Newspapers, thanks for your excellent print and video coverage. And to Lee at the Westerner for your very clever and well-thought-out articles.

To the many people who walked with us for extended periods during the walk, particularly David Puxty, Fabio & Nat Pavanello, the Lords XI cricket team, Colleen Owen, Laine (thanks so much for the massage) Rozanne Burley, the Qld Roar boys. And to Glen Archer for his selfless act in helping us out with medical supplies, without this we probably would not have made it through the night.

And to our own wonderful children, who put up with Mum & Dad being not as involved in their lives as usual while were training and for their understanding and love before, during and after the walk, you are the ones who understand better than anyone that we are just normal people who tried to make a difference.

We realise there will be some people we will have missed in this note and for that we sincerely apologise, please know however your efforts have been absolutely both appreciated and worthwhile.
