Take the 65 Roses Challenge for Cystic Fibrosis

We dare you to take the 65 Roses Challenge and organise a fundraiser to support people and their families living with cystic fibrosis (CF).

It can be anything from a crazy physical challenge like Shari and Matt's Nepal Trek or The Goldfields Group Cape to Cape Hike, or you could challenge yourself to run/walk/swim/ride 65km over the month of May.

The sky is the limit, as long as you're challenging yourself and raising funds for CF!

By taking the 65 Roses Challenge, you will ensure that Cystic Fibrosis WA can continue to extend the lives of people with CF through the delivery of vital services and research.

What are you waiting for? Challenge accepted!

2018 65 Roses Challenges

Here are a couple of the amazing 65 Roses Challenges from last year.

Cape to Cape Challenge

GoldWith determination, passion and the help of a generous community of supporters, the CF Goldfields group took on a huge challenge, walking a combined 270km over 14 days on the Cpae to Cape track in WA's south west. They smashed their fundraising target four times and raised a total of $15,000 over three months!

Shari and Matt's Nepal Trek

ShariAt the end of last year, siblings Shari and Mathew completed a six-day trek in Nepal, raising awareness and over $11,700 for cystic fibrosis (CF)!

Their inspiration for the challenge is a childhood friend who has CF. Shari spoke to the Albany Advertiser before the trek and said, “Growing up we have learnt and witnessed the difficulties he [their friend] has had to go through so this is very important to us."

Cystic Fibrosis Western Australia

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is one of the most common, recessive, life-limiting genetic conditions affecting children and adults in Australia. CF causes thick, sticky mucus to build up in the body, mainly affecting the respiratory and digestive system.

People with CF often need to take up to 40 tablets per day, maintain daily physio and visit the hospital on a regular basis in order to stay as healthy as possible. Funds raised will help Cystic Fibrosis WA to provide essential services for people living with CF and to deliver funding for critical CF research projects.

Please help us to achieve our vision of "lives unaffected by CF".
