Sydney Information

Address in Sydney:

  • The starting location and Unity Walk in the Park festival area is located on the Village Green Lawn near the park’s kiosk.


  • 2km or 4km Walk (2km is one loop of the course)


  • 9am registration opens
  • 10am 2/4km Walk starts
  • 11am live entertainment
  • 12:30pm event concludes 

Registration Cost:

EB: Early bird prices until midnight 29th July 2018.

Getting there:

  • Parking is limited, so we highly recommend all participants to catch public transport or carpool to the event. Great news is that public transport on Sundays is capped at $2.60 for all Opal card customers. St Peters train station is just across the road and buses travel down Sydney park Road, Princes Highway and King Street. For more information on catching public transport check out . On the day:

  • Upon arrival in the morning, 
    • pick up your participation pack from the pre-registration tent
    • grab a coffee,
    • get yourself and your team organised,
    • make up your team sign at the Art for Parkinson’s station,
    • buy a Parkinson’s NSW cap or water bottle to get ready for the walk,
    • get your kids face painted, add your dedication to the honour wall,
    • join us in the warm up
    • LET’S WALK!


Food & Entertainment:

  • Following the walk there will be live entertainment on stage until 12:30 and the draw for the $200 challenge. Sit back and relax with your loved ones whilst filling your belly with the delicious food on offer from our enjoyable food trucks.


What to bring:

  • We encourage everyone to bring their own water bottle or purchase the new Parkinson’s NSW water bottle as we will not be selling one use water. Also bring sunscreen, water, money for merchandise and yummy food, your family, friends, dogs and the entire neighbourhood. If you are bringing your dog, please bring bags to pick up their waste.
