By walking in your chosen location, you can choose your distance as well. It’s all up to you.

Choose your own location, choose your distance, get your friends, family, work colleagues together on Sunday the 26th and walk with the rest of NSW in spirit. Show your loved ones that you are supporting them and that we are in this together no matter where you are.

Family & friends who may not live close by can also join your team and walk with you in spirit in their local area.

What do I do first?:

  • Once you have registered online you’ll receive your very own fundraising page where you can write you own story or use the template story, link it with your social media accounts, invite people to sponsor you, thank them publicly, have access to digital resources to help your efforts.
  • You’ll also receive a participation pack in the mail which includes your participation certificate, honour sticker and your limited edition 2018 event medal.

Then what happens?

  • Participation packs will be sent out to the address you used when registering online on the 13th August 2018 through regular mail via Australia post. If you are eligible for the free event t-shirt or the Parkinson’s gift pack they will also be sent out on this date.
  • Participants who register or become eligible for incentives between the 13th August 2018 and the 23rd August 2018 will still be sent their participation packs however Parkinson’s NSW will not be responsible for lost or late post.

Can I still enter for the prizes?

  • Yes! Check out the Giveaways page for more information on fundraising incentives and the $200 challenge raffle draw to have the chance to win a 7-night stay for 2 in Vanuatu.

Fundraising Tips:

  • If you personalise your page you are likely to raise more than people who don’t. Simple upload a photo of yourself and write a quick story on why this means so much to you.
