Volunteer and join the Unity Army

Why help out?

Quite simply, because we can’t do it alone. By volunteering, you will be helping to make the day a huge success. You will join other Parkinson’s NSW staff and volunteers to help make this event memorable, raise as much money as possible and therefore help as many people with Parkinson’s as we can.

Who do we need?

We are on the lookout for friendly, energetic and committed people to assist in many roles and activities. These roles may include:

  • entertainers
  • registration desk & sales
  • marshalling
  • merchandise
  • set-up and pack-down
  • photographers
  • film makers
  • kids activities

So if you a budding photographer, a stilt walker, maybe a legend with a guitar who loves being in front of an audience then we need you! Have you got a voice that grabs attention and you’re not afraid to use it? Or are you an IT savvy computer whiz, or maybe you live for merchandising, or do you just love giving a helping hand or a hi five? Then we can find a job for you.

The Unity Army play a significant role in the success of the Unity Walk in the Park while having a great time doing it.

Volunteers must be over the age of 18 and willing to volunteer from 6am till 2pm on the day.

Register your interest now by downloading the volunteer information pack and registrations form here.

Alternatively you can complete the form online at here
