A society that values mental health and where everyone has the opportunity to be mentally healthy. Can you picture it?

Our future involves communities that talk openly about mental health, are resilient, where there is no stigma and where people take action to promote their mental wellbeing.

This October bring people together to celebrate ABC Day 2018.

Together we can build active, empowered and resilient communities.

Get involved

ABC Day is an annual fundraiser, where we ask you to help us build stronger, mentally healthy communities.

So what are you waiting for?

Throughout the month of October, catch up with mates, host an event or take on a challenge to fundraise for a good cause! Every cent raised will help us achieve our vision by empowering people and communities with mental health prevention strategies and programs.

Act-Belong-Commit (Curtin University)

Act-Belong-Commit is a mental health promotion campaign helping to change attitudes towards mental health and reducing stigma towards mental illness by encouraging people to be more open about mental health issues and inspiring people to engage in activities that strengthen their mental well-being.

The A-B-C guidelines for positive mental health provide a simple approach to become more mentally healthy: Being active, having a sense of belonging and having a purpose in life all contribute to happiness and good mental health.

Mentally Healthy WA runs the campaign, and is a registered not-for-profit operating throughout Western Australia. We are reliant on fundraising, donations and grants to continue our mental health promotion campaign, and to provide our programs and services. With your support, the money raised will help to contribute to a more mentally healthy WA and support vital programs that deliver positive mental health strategies across WA.
