Do you want to make a difference, but aren’t sure how? Join an ADRA Connections trip!

Together with ADRA you can bring hope and life-changing assistance to communities most in need.

Connect with communities throughout the South Pacific, Asia and Africa and witness how you can make a difference.

By joining an ADRA Connections trip your church, school, interest group or organisation has the opportunity to make a long-lasting difference in the lives of people living in poverty and despair.

So how does it work?

  • DO - Get your hands dirty by bringing an ADRA project to life. Partner with a community to involved in a project such as building a life-saving water system, restoring a medical clinic, renovating a classroom or playground or providing educaton on health, sanitation or hygiene.
  • LEARN - Experience and taste local culture and cuisine. Try eating rice and veggie with chopsticks in Vietnam, or give rice harvesting or milking a buffalo in Nepal, or wrap your mouth around some of the local dialects in Philippines or have a go wearing a bilium or dancing in a grass skirt!
  • SEE – Take in beautiful sights around the world! Trek through a Nepalese jungle on an elephant, hike a volcano in the Philippines, visit local heritage sites such as Ankor Wat in Cambodia, or swim in the crystal-clear waters of the South Pacific.

The ADRA Connections experience can either be a 10-day trip or a 15-day trip and will include a range of activities like the ones mentioned above.  If you are interested in participating in ADRA Connections, it is recommended that your group sign up at least six months prior to departure, to ensure enough time for planning, preparation and fundraising.

ADRA will assist registered teams with organising all the project activities as well as food, accommodation and transport in the country, insurance cover, a translator and a host to manage logistics as well as orinetation activities and programs throughout your lead-up and during your trip.
