Cancer Council Queensland is calling on men – and women – to unite in the fight against cancer by registering for Beard150.

It’s time to encourage men to talk about their health and grow awareness for support services available to men. Grow a beard – help make a difference!

Epic Beard Responsibility

With your support, we can reach out and support all Queensland men affected by cancer.

Beard150 was initially launched in 2014 by Justin Gordon, a community fundraiser who lost his father to cancer. Over the past two years, the campaign has successfully raised more than $70 000 for Cancer Council Queensland’s vital work in cancer research, education and support. This year with your help, we hope to raise more than $60,000 for the cause.

With your support, we can reach out and support all Queensland men affected by cancer.

We’re calling on 150 men to grow a beard over winter to raise much-needed funds.

Whether you have been personally diagnosed with cancer or know of someone affected, you can help make a difference. Together, we are stronger than cancer.

Calling all Beardsman. . .

Grow a beard in your chosen style, sponsor a loved one to grow a beard, pledge to colour or shave someone's facial fur, or simply donate to Beard150 to help Cancer Council Queensland raise funds vital for cancer research, education programs and support services.

Ladies, you’re invited too!

While you might not grow facial fuzz, you can show your support by fundraising. It is as easy as nominating a special man in your life to grow a beard, baking beard themed cookies, wearing a stylish beard hat or hosting a ‘beard party’ for your friends and family.

Don’t be afraid to get hairy!
