Thank you for supporting this years RACT 45th City to Casino Fun Run & Walk!

An important part of being healthy is being active!

We are delighted to be part of the RACT 45th City to Casino Fun Run & Walk again in 2017 and we encourage everyone to get involved - either by participating or sponsoring a friend or family member.

Last year our Diabetes Tasmania team had participants in all events.  These events run over 3 distances, everyone can be part of it, whether it be the 2.5km run or walk (for children under 12 years of age - adults can enter to accomapny their children), the 7km run or walk or the 11km run.  You dont have to go it alone – grab a bunch of friends, co-workers, family, or strangers and form a team to raise money in support of all Tasmanians diagnosed with diabetes.

Choose a team theme and dress up, if that’s your thing.  Print some team t-shirts or dress in your favourite colour.  All funds raised will remain in Tasmania to help support our vital information programs, camps and much, much more.

Most of all REMEMBER to have FUN!

At Diabetes Tasmania we’re all about promoting great health.  Whatever type of diabetes you may have: type 1, type 2, gestational, pre-diabetes or no diabetes, you can still live a long and healthy life.

Diabetes Tasmania is here to help you now and into the future.
