Hello and welcome,
Thank you for supporting my journey to compete in the 2016 Rio De Janeiro Paralympics.
My story… Immediately after losing my legs in Afghanistan on the 23rd August 2012, I said to the guys carrying me in the stretcher you will see me in the Paralympics.
At that point I wasn't sure what sport I would compete in, but now I have found canoeing and I am aiming for gold on the podium at the 2016 Rio De Janeiro Paralympics.
I have had a long road of recovery and Mates4Mates has supported my journey. I train 12 times a week with my coach Andrea King on the Gold Coast.
There are many qualifying events between now and then which will require a huge amount of commitment and support.
So jump on board and help me achieve this goal, not only for me but for the many men that didn't return home from Afghanistan and of course for Australia.
