Together as part of national hard hat campaign we can make a tangible difference to the persistent problem of youth homelessness.

Leave your desk, put down the tools for a bit and bring your team together to have some fun – while raising money to rebuild the lives of at-risk and homeless young people.

The National Hard Hat campaign is where teams from property and construction companies join forces across partitions, state offices and construction sites to organise BBQs, trivia nights and talent shows – whatever it takes to make a difference to youth homelessness.

Property Industry Foundation

Every night, across Australia, 44,000 young people are homeless. Family breakdown, abuse, poverty, neglect and mental illness, are factors that cause young people to become homeless and prevent them creating an independent life. These are all areas outside of their control and without accommodation and guidance they face a bleak future.

With the right interventions, a safe place to call home, counselling, life skills training, education and pathways to employment, these young people can flourish.

For 20 years, the Property Industry Foundation, with the support of the property and construction industry, has been making a tangible difference to the serious and persistent problem of youth homelessness.

Through our PIF House Program we are building bedrooms and providing vital support for at-risk and homeless young people. We also fund programs with our Charity Partners to provide counselling, therapeutic care and other support for young people in real need.

Over the next five years, our target is to build a further 125 bedrooms and continue to grow from there.

Thank you for your support.
