Road Raise Schools is a month-long challenge run through March and April 2018, which aims to raise funds and awareness for CanTeen. Students and staff from a selection of South Australian schools with a love of keeping active, a sense of community and a desire to push their boundaries aim to raise a combined $50,000. We are encouraging students to register as an individual or team and get active by scootering, skating, running or walking!

This campaign will fund an incredible 1,250 hours of peer support to help young people in South Australia cope with cancer in their family, rebuild foundations and connect with others in a similar situation.

We get it. Just when life should be full of possibilities, cancer crashes into a young person’s world and shatters everything. CanTeen is the game changer.

We help young people cope with cancer in their family. Through CanTeen, they learn to explore and deal with their feelings about cancer, connect with other young people in the same boat and if they’ve been diagnosed themselves, we provide specialist, youth-specific treatment teams.

By feeling understood and supported, young people develop resilience and can rebuild the foundations that crumbled beneath them when cancer turned their life upside down. That’s how CanTeen is the difference.
