Walk for Humanity - Walkathon has now finished

By participating in this event, you agree to and understand the following;

  1. Your email address maybe used for future VCA events
  2. You understand that there will be dogs and a mixture of communities in attendance; you will be mindful of this and treat all creatures and people with respect
  3. Media may be on site and may take some photography or video footage
  4. On the occasion that you are injured, St John’s Ambulance will be available to assist. However, you understand the risks of participating in a walkathon
  5. If you have a pre-existing injury you understand the risks involved in participating and will take necessary measures
  6. VCA and partners are not liable for any damage physical, mental, or emotional to your experience in the walkathon
  7. Children must be accompanied by an adult
  8. Any valuables and personal items brought with you to the event areas is your full responsibility. There is no cloak room.
  9. Dogs must be kept on a leash. Please clean up after your pet and bring your own doggie bags. Your pet is your responsibility, VCA takes no responsibility for any incidents that occur during the event.
  10. There is no baggage deposit provision on event day. Participants are advised to carry their valuables with them at all times during the walk.
  11. The Organiser shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage during the walkathon
  12. After registration, there will be no fee refund for any cancellations or for participants who eventually do not participate in the walkathon, for any reasons whatsoever.
  13. Participants must walk on designated paths for the entire route and observe traffic regulations as they are responsible for their own safety at all times.
  14. Whilst the Organiser takes every reasonable precaution to ensure Participants' safety, the Organiser will not be responsible for any loss, damage, injury or death, howsoever arising from participating in the Walkathon.
  15. In the event of bad weather, Participants may expect delays to the start of the Walkathon. However, should bad weather continue, the Organiser, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to cancel the walk without any registration fee refund.
  16. The Organiser reserves all rights to add and/or amend the terms and conditions without prior notice.
