The Defence Bank Foundation

The Defence Bank Foundation raises funds to support the Defence Community Dogs program.

Defence Community Dogs (DCD) program trains rescued dogs to become Service Dogs to support veterans suffering from injuries and illnesses including Post-traumatic Stress Disorders (PTSD). The dogs are trained by inmates under the guidance of professional dog trainers then given to serving and ex-serving Australian Defence Force members at no cost to the veteran.

It costs over $7,500 to train each dog and more dogs are needed. Each donation will help us rescue, feed and train another dog for a veteran. Thank you.

The Defence Bank Foundation was established in 2012 as an independent charity to help injured, wounded and disadvantaged serving and former Australian Defence Force members and their families.
