Ladder was established in 2007 to help young people aged 16 - 25 break the cycle of homelessness. Ladder creates the opportunities and space for young people to unleash their talents and build futures free of homelessness and full of possibilities. We provide a mix of housing, support services and personal development programs in New South Wales, South Australia, Victoria and Western Australia.

Our approach to working with young people is to focus on their strengths and what they can achieve, moving away from the cycle of disadvantage and negativity they may have experienced in their lives. It is about developing self-confidence and helping young people to identify and achieve their life goals. Ladder was established by a group of AFL players in 2007 in a bid to empower young people to break the cycle of homelessness.
Ladder is the Official Charity of AFL Players and a national partner of the AFL.
